Severn Trent De Nora to Present Its Products at Offshore Technology Conference

Severn Trent De Nora, a leading provider of electrolytic seawater disinfection systems, will showcase its line of water and wastewater treatment systems at the Offshore Technology Conference to be held 30 April to 3 May 2012, at Reliant Park in Houston, Texas.

The following products will be featured during the conference:

  • The OMNIPURE™ Series 55 marine sewage treatment system utilizes a unique electrolytic treatment process combined with electrocoagulation to provide safe and effective treatment of black and gray water. The certified treatment process provides wastewater effluent quality well within MEPC.159(55) requirements while eliminating the need to handle waste solids from raw, untreated influent. The light-weight systems feature a small footprint and are easy to install and maintain. With an individual unit capacity ranging up to 17,280 gal/day (65 m3/day), OMNIPURE Series 55 systems can be combined for increased capacity. The systems have Bureau Veritas certification and USCG certification to IMO Resolution MEPC.159(55).
  • The BALPURE® ballast water treatment system is a patented and type-approved solution to the threat of aquatic invasive species. Suitable for ballast water flow rates ranging from 500 to more than 20,000 m3/h, the BALPURE system features low power requirements, minimal maintenance and flexible installation. The system can be supplied as a skid-mounted configuration as well as a sub-assembly design option that adapts well to existing spaces. The BALPURE system has been rigorously tested over more than eight years.
  • The SANILEC® electrochlorination system generates hypochlorite from seawater and has demonstrated reliable, economic and low-maintenance operation in installations throughout the world. When injected into the cooling water circuits, the on-site-generated sodium hypochlorite solution provides efficient biofouling control protection to the equipment. SANILEC systems range in capacity from 0.11 to 100 lb/hr (.05 to 45.4 kg/hr), per train.
  • The UAT™ seawater desalination membrane filtration systems effectively produce fresh treated water, free of particulate matter or contaminants, from a seawater source. Systems range in output capacities from 2,000 to 26,000 gpd (7,570 to 98,410 lpd) and are available in standard and custom-made specifications to meet the requirements of a classified area.
