Signal's Mississippi Operations Achieves Zero OSHA Recordable Incident Mileston

On March 11th, 2012, the Signal Mississippi Operations in Pascagoula, Mississippi achieved one full year, surpassing one-million man-hours, without the occurrence of an OSHA recordable incident.

This is a significant safety milestone within the United States shipyard and marine fabrication industry, thus representing world-class safety performance. By realizing the goal of a zero OSHA recordable incident, which includes work-related injuries such as cuts, lacerations, punctures, abrasions, fractures, strains, sprains, dislocations, burns, bruises and contusions,

Signal Mississippi has set the standard and demonstrated that working completely OSHA recordable free within the industry is achievable. This success is attributed to the efforts and focus of the entire Signal Mississippi Operations’ employees – management, administration, support, and production.

Additional to note is Signal’s OSHA recordable safety goal for 2012 is “0” incidents across all company divisions. This “0” incident goal reflects Signal’s core value that Signal’s top priority is our employees safety.
