Venezuela: CHEC, Petroquimica Sign Maritime Terminal Deal

CHEC signed an EPC Contract for Maritime Terminal of Moron Petrochemical Complex with Petroquimica de Venezuela on November 24. the Contract signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Chavez, the President of Venezuela. The total value of the contract is around USD 460 million, and the construction period is three years.

The project mainly covers construction of a new petrochemical wharf with two berths, 800-m trestle, rear processing plant, control system and other related supporting facilities.

The project is the second project conducted by CHEC in Venezuela. Winning bid for the project will further solidify CHEC’s position in infrastructure construction field of Venezuela.
