Yemen LNG Restarts Operations

Yemen LNG said today that it has restarted normal operations on 23rd May, after pipeline repair.

The pipeline was attacked three times since March this year. The 320km pipeline transports around 1.14 billion cubic feet/day from Block 18 in Marib province in northern Yemen to the Total-operated export terminal at Balhaf.

The Yemen LNG project has three long-term contracts to supply LNG to GDF Suez, Kogas and Total Gas & Power for a total of 6.7 Mtpa.
