14th Annual FPSO Congress Welcomes Shell, Petrobras Speakers

Martijn Dekker, Stones Field Development Manager from Shell and Jose Cunha, P55 Construction Manager from Petrobras are the latest keynote speakers to join a highly distinguished panel of vessel owners, oil operators, shipyards and financiers at the 14th Annual FPSO Congress on 17-18 September, in Singapore this year.

Speaking on the recently announced Stones FPSO in the Gulf of Mexico,  Dekker will provide an unprecedented presentation on the world’s deepest FPSO project, touching on the rationale, criterion and specific technological requirements for the project.

Complementing his presentation,  Cunha will discuss the progress of Petrobras’ Santos Presalt FPSO projects, and highlight the challenges in construction and Petrobras’ latest strategies to ensure on-time delivery of these projects.

Petrobras’ and Shell’s participation this year at the FPSO Congress highlights the importance in bringing the key stakeholders from the FPSO community together in one place, where C-level executives and senior management from the community will come together to discuss this year’s key theme of driving FPSO project profitability through sustainable business models and technological advancements.

The 14th Annual FPSO Congress this year is set to bring over 550 delegates together in Singapore, including early confirmation of over 15 C-level executives including Mr. Carl Arnet, CEO, BW Offshore, Mr. Thyl Kint, CTO, BW Offshore, Mr. Hassan Basma, CEO, Bumi Armada, Mr. Paul Pederson, CEO, Rubicon Offshore and Mr. Ivan Replumaz, MD, SBM Offshore.
