‘GETREADY4SHIPS’ Pilot Project Launched, Canada

Annapolis Digby Economic Development Agency Launches “GETREADY4SHIPS” Pilot Project. ADEDA is taking a proactive approach to ensure that regional businesses have an opportunity to take part in the Halifax Irving Ship building contract.

The Annapolis Digby Economic Development Agency is conducting an environmental scan on the business community within the Municipality of the County of Annapolis, the Municipality of the District of Digby, Town of Digby, Town of Annapolis Royal, Town of Bridgetown and the Town of Middleton.

Step one for ADEDA is to find out WHO does WHAT and where it is they do it. This detailed information, continuously updated, is a selling tool for local enterprise, keeping the changing needs of the multi-year shipbuilding contract always front and center.
