New VLCC Brightoil Gravity Joins Brightoil Fleet

Hyundai Heavy Industries’ Gunsan Shipyard in South Korea has officially delivered the second 318,000 dwt VLCC named Brightoil Gravity to Brightoil Petroleum.

According to Brightoil the vessel comes as one of the largest oil tankers in the world and is designed with the most modern and fuel efficient features.

Brightoil Petroleum had its first 318,000 DWT VLCC (Brightoil Glory) delivered on 22 June 2012, the remaining four VLCCs will be delivered by the first half of 2013. With these deliveries, the Group will boast a sizable marine fleet with a total capacity that exceeds 2,000,000 DWT. The fleet would be able to carry approximately 20,000,000 MT of oil each year.
