Gondan Shipyard to Build Sail Training Vessel

Gondan shipyard has been awarded a new contract by MSSC (Marine Society & Sea Cadets) based in the UK for the construction of a sail training vessel for the Sea Cadets that will have the construction number C457. This contract came into force on 1st August 2013.

The vessel can accommodate 24 cadets as trainees, aged from 13½ to 18 years old, in voyages from six to fourteen days in northern European sea waters.

The length overall is 32 m and maximum beam 7.36 m.
