The cargo/oil pontoon with ramp is 48 x 12 meter with a depth of 1.70 meters.

Holland Shipyards located in Hardinxveld Giessendam adjudged MDConstructions the first order. In the end the pontoon would be certified by Bureau Veritas with a Hull Certificate.

MDConstructions started up in December of 2013 and is located at the riverside in Rotterdam. MDConstructions builds modular steel and complete hull constructions for shipbuilding, offshore, dredging, marine, petrochemical, infra and industry purposes.

 High quality steel construction

MDConstructions focuses mainly on collaboration with the Dutch newbuilding shipyards in the first years, with a short turnaround time priority. Quality starts by working with the best materials and the company’s most important assets, their people.

“One of our objectives for our success is to build high quality steel constructions in a short time. MDConstructions is able to anticipate the needs of their customers quickly and translate them into actions which achieved the desired results,” MDConstruction said in a release.

MDConstructions is located at the riverside of Rotterdam IJsselmonde, in the well-known Verolme building. The facility has a total area of 4500 m2 (50 x 90 meters). The facility is suitable to build modular steel and complete hull constructions. MDConstructions is certified by Lloyds WPS | Welding Procedure Certification.
