China: CIC BLM Shipyard Finishes Repairing Oil Tanker HENGYU 3

Successfully repaired vessel “HENGYU 3 “, departed from CIC BLM Shipyard. The ship-owner was quite satisfied with the service and praised for the 1st class service and excellent technological skills.

The vessel is an oil tanker and arrived at the shipyard on April 21st. The major repair projects of the ship was the regular docking repair, main engine, auxiliary engine, 2 diesel engines of the cargo pump, 2 cargo pumps, pipelines of the engine room, anchoring system and so on. The main jobs was the machinery repair which had high technical requirements and was called “leading project” by the shipyard. it was reported that the staff of the shipyard delicately dismantled and repaired the machinery equipment which was bad in primitive condition, made good installation which succeeded in verification , and provided the solution for a long lasting problem for the ship owner. Finally the ship owner, ship’s crew and CCS were extremely satisfied with the performance and quality of the shipyard.
