Su Tu Trang Topside en Route to Its Location Offshore Vietnam

 

Vietnam’s PTSC M&C yesterday (May 14), at its yard in Vung Tau City, hosted a load-out and sail-away ceremony for the Su Tu Trang (White Lion) jacket and topside, built for Cuu Long JOC.

Su Tu Trang is a turn-key project awarded to PTSC M&C in March 2010. The scope of work includes Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Hook-up and Commissioning for a 1,400 ton topside, 1,200 ton jacket, 1,000 ton jacket pile, 19.5 km infield pipeline and the additional modification for the existing Su Tu Vang Central Processing Platform offshore Vietnam.

PTSC M&C, in an announcement made last week, said it that the expected completion date for the offshore installation campaign for the project was the first half of July 2012.

At the ceremony, leaders from PTSC M&C emphasized the fact that with their on-hand capability, “PTSC M&C is now confident to approach and absorb more EPCIC projects for the oil and gas industries.”

The PTSC M&C official also expressed a desire on embarking on the world-integration program and getting more effective cooperation with strategic partners all around the globe.

PTSC M&C successful history in Vietnam, particularly in terms of providing oil and gas onshore/offshore facilities, goes back in time to over 10 years. Several large EPCI contracts were executed for major international clients such as Talisman, BP, ConocoPhilips, Petronas, JVPC, Premier Oil.
