Dragon LNG import terminal at Waterston, Milford Haven is scheduled to receive a cargo of liquefied natural gas from Qatar next week.

According to the shipping data from the Milford Haven Port Authority, the 217,591-cbm Al Ghashamiya is scheduled to deliver the cargo on June 28.

The Q-Flex LNG carrier built in South Korea by Samsung Heavy Industries is wholly-owned by Nakilat and chartered by LNG producer Qatargas.

Gas transmission data from National Grid shows that gas flows into the national gas transmission network from the Dragon LNG terminal were at 5.50 mcm per day on Thursday, June 22.

The Dragon LNG terminal, owned by Shell and Petronas has a maximum gas send out rate to the NTS of 7.6 billion cubic meters of gas per annum. The terminal can supply up to 10 percent of the UK’s energy needs.
