Iran: Monthly Gas Condensate Exports Near USD 1 Billion

About 977.7 thousand tons of gas condensate worth $913.7 million have been exported from Pars Special Energy Economic Zone (PSEEZ) custom administration during the last month of the current Iranian calendar year, the director of PSEEZ’s custom administration, Mr. Pourheydar announced.

Iran’s SHANA news agency quoted Ahmad Pourheydar as saying that, the figures show 75% increase in terms of weight and 153% rise in value compared with the same period last year.

Iran exported 1.3 million tons of non-oil goods produced in the PSEEZ worth $971.3 million, which show 121% increase in terms of weight and 167% rise in value compared with the same period last year.

He went on to say that during the aforementioned period more than 2.3 million tons of goods including light and heavy polyethylene, gas condensate, propane, butane, benzene and other goods worth $1.8 billion have been exported from the zone.

This figures show a 100% increase in terms of weight and 160% rise in value in comparison to the same period last year.

The statistics also show that Iran imported 12.5 thousand tons of goods worth $60.5 million through the PSEEZ’s customs administration during the last month of the current Iranian calendar year.

He declared that about 270.7 thousand tons of goods worth $647.1 million have been shipped inside the country.

This figures show a 106% increase in terms of weight and 1391% rise in value compared with the same period last year.
