Peru: Jan-Mar Gas Production Up

Peru’s natural gas average production in March was 1’173,210.38 TCFD, 2.25% more than in February, according to the data from PeruPetro S.A.

This increase was mainly due to the increased delivery of gas from Blocks 88 and 31-C by increased requirement for consumers from Peru LNG Plant and Power Station Aguaytia.

Natural gas cumulative production for January-March 2012 was 100’807,751.48 TCF, 17.61% more than the production for the same period 2011.

This increase was mainly due to the increased delivery of gas from Blocks 88 and 56 and due to the delivery of gas to the LNG plant and to more requirements from the power sector.
