IGU Releases 2013 World LNG Report

International Gas Union Issued the first LNG Report. This report will be followed by other editions in 2014 and 2015, where readers will find comprehensive overviews of LNG market developments for each of these years.

The current report reviews the situation of the global LNG market throughout 2012, up to the first quarter of 2013. Two special reports have been included into this edition: “North American LNG Prospects and Challenges” and “LNG as Fuel for Transportation”.

The LNG market is a major subject of discussion for IGU experts. In the framework of its unique working structure – featuring 14 Programme Committees, Study Groups and Task Forces -, the IGU Programme Committee D develops an LNG expertise by bringing together around a hundred international experts. The World LNG Report – 2013 Edition presents the first results of their common work and expertise.
