India Service to Rotterdam

From 2 November, MSC and CSAV will stop weekly at the port of Rotterdam with their joint IPAK Service to the Middle East and India.

The port of Rotterdam takes over the position of first unloading port in Northern Europe from Bremerhaven, which will disappear from the rotation. After Rotterdam, the ships go to Antwerp and Felixstowe where they load up for Jeddah, Salalah, Nhava Sheva and Mundra.

Seven container ships are deployed in the service, with capacity ranging from 4,800 to 6,700 TEU. CSAV, which provides two ships, discontinued its own IMEX Service in August and has been working since then together with MSC. MSC had an India Service calling at the port of Rotterdam until the end of 2009, together with the Shipping Corporation of India (SCI).
