ALE Heavylift: Moving APLNG Modules (VIDEO)

ALE Heavylift posted a video showing how the modules are being moved on Curtis Island for Australia Pacific LNG project.

A key part of the construction process for an LNG plant is the construction and delivery of modules to the work sites. LNG Modules are pre-fabricated steel structures which come in all shapes and sizes. Each piece, or module, is designed and built to fit into its specific location perfectly and connected to other components to form the LNG plant structure.

The Australia Pacific LNG project includes the development of natural gas from coal seams in the Surat and Bowen basins and construction of a gas transmission pipeline from the gas fields to an LNG facility on Curtis Island, off Gladstone. Natural gas is used in homes and businesses for cooking, heating, electricity generation, vehicle fuel, manufacturing and other industrial uses.
