Alfa Laval said on Friday that the order has a value of approximately SEK 70 million ($7.73 million).

The company added that it was booked in late September in the Pumping Systems unit of the Marine Division, with deliveries scheduled for 2019.

The order comprises marine pumping systems for crude oil offloading, slop, produced water, off-spec oil, and ballast pump duties.

Peter Leifland, President of the Marine Division, said: “I am pleased to announce this order for our Framo pumping systems. These are part of our wide offering for the marine and offshore industries where they are highly recognized for their reliable performance.”

This is the third time Alfa Laval received orders for its Framo systems for FPSOs since March. The previous two were for an FPSO under construction in China worth $8.4 million and an FPSO in the North Sea.

Two other orders include Framo pumping systems and emergency generators to an oil platform in the North Sea worth $20.8 million and for a floating liquid natural gas (FLNG) vessel to be built in South Korea worth $6 million.
