Another Qatari LNG Cargo on Way to India

Petronet’s Dahej LNG terminal on India’s west coast is due to get a cargo of LNG onboard the 154,800 cbm Aseem from Qatar on June 29, according to shipping data.

This represents the second Qatari LNG cargo expected to arrive at the LNG terminal this week.

The Dahej terminal in Gujarat, when built, was South East Asia’s first LNG receiving and regasification terminal with an original nameplate capacity of 5 MMTPA.

The capacity of the terminal has been expanded to 10 MMTPA and it has been commissioned in June, 2009.

The expansion involved construction of 2 additional LNG storage tanks and other vaporization facilities.
