Apache selling Wheatstone LNG stake

Apache Corporation is reportedly looking for a buyer to sell a stake in the Chevron- operated Wheatstone LNG project.

According to Bloomberg, the company is in early talks with potential buyers for its share in the $27 billion LNG project in Western Australia.

Sources close to the company said that Macquarie Group and Goldman Sachs are advising Houston-based Apache on the sale.
