Arrow Energy Awards EPCM contract for Daandine Project

AMEC, the international engineering and project management company, said that the Clough AMEC joint venture has been awarded a Au$20 million (£11 million) Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) contract for Arrow Energy’s Daandine Expansion Project in South-East Queensland, Australia.

The Daandine Expansion Project includes the installation of additional well facilities and new gas and water gathering pipelines in the Daandine field in Queensland’s Surat Basin.

The contract scope will include the expansion of the existing central gas processing facility with three new reciprocating gas-driven compressors and associated process and utility plant, increasing the current total number of wells in the Daandine gas field by 22. Production will be increased by modifications to existing infrastructure and the installation of additional infrastructure.

The contract is set to run to the end of 2015.

“AMEC is delighted to be working closely with Arrow Energy and Clough on this significant project for Queensland,” said Steve Ciccone, AMEC Regional Director, Australia East.

“We will draw on our considerable engineering expertise in the Australian Coal Seam Gas industry to help Arrow achieve their long term objectives for the Daandine project, safely and sustainably.”
