Exoma Provides Update on Darr-1 Well

Exoma Energy Limited announces the Darr-1 exploration core well in ATP 1005P was drilled to a total depth of 1124 metres.

The well cored a 38 metre section of Toolebuc Shale formation. A total of 7 metres of shale core samples were put on desorption testing to measure gas content. The core will be subject to laboratory testing to measure oil content and geochemical and mechanical properties.

The well was deepened to confirm the southern extent of the Permian coal measures. As predicted, the coal measures were of limited thickness and were not cored.

The well has been plugged and abandoned as planned. The EDA #1 drill rig has been released to move to the next well, Sancho-1. The well locations are shown on the attached map.

Exoma has a 50% beneficial interest in both ATP 1005P and the Darr-1 well. CNOOC Galilee Gas Company Pty Ltd is earning its participating interest by a farmin whereby CNOOC provides the first $50 million of joint venture expenditures on Exoma’s five Galilee Basin ATP’s.
