Blu. Opens LNG Fueling Station in Utah, USA
“The opening of the Blu. liquefied and compressed natural gas (LNG/CNG) fueling station in Myton, Utah is an important step in bringing energy independence to the United States, lowering fueling costs and improving environment,” said government and environmental leaders at the station’s grand opening Wednesday.
“The station is a critical link in the natural gas network that we’re developing here in Utah, which is number one in the nation per capita,” said Irene Rizza of the Utah Clean Cities Coalition.
The Myton Blu station offers liquefied and compressed natural gas as well as diesel and gasoline. It has two LNG dispensers and four CNG fueling positions. At full build out, the station will incorporate six LNG dispensers and twelve CNG fueling positions, making the station one of the largest LNG/CNG stations in North America. It will serve trucks traveling along the Highway 40 corridor as well as trucks supporting oil and gas production companies in the Uintah Basin.
