Brazilian subsea services provider changes hands

Norwegian engineering company CoreMarine has completed the acquisition of Brazil’s BravOcean, a provider of subsea installation support, project management services, and specialist personnel for deepwater subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) projects.

CoreMarine said that the acquisition accelerates its growth in Brazil, which is a key market in the company’s long-term growth strategy, as well as broadens its service offering to meet rising demand for offshore and subsea construction, project delivery, and technical services across the region.
