Bridge Energy Production from Victoria Field Shut due to Export System Problems

Bridge, the Oslo Børs and AIM listed oil and gas exploration and production company, today confirms that the gas export infrastructure system used by the Bridge operated Victoria field, in Southern North Sea, UK, has been unavailable since 30 November 2012.

This unavailability is due to issues on the Lincolnshire Offshore Gas Gathering System (LOGGS) facilities. As a consequence production from the Victoria field is currently closed in.

“Production from the Victoria field will resume as soon as the Export System availability is restored,” said Bridge in a press release.

The Victoria Field is located in Southern North Sea Block 49/17 and is the first phase of development of the Victoria and Viking B Extension accumulation

Natural gas from Victoria is transported through the LOGGS facilities where it is comingled and forwarded on to the Theddlethorpe gas terminal in Lincolnshire, England via a 36-inch pipeline.
