In a brief statement through its social media channels, BW LNG noted that the vessel is set to immediately enter into charter with an energy major.

The vessel is BW LNG’s fourth out of so far a series of nine newbuilding vessels with ME-GI propulsion.

The vessel is capable of transporting 173,400 cubic meters of the chilled fuel, and also features a reliquefaction system.

BW Magnolia, known as H2490 during construction was named in September last year together with its sister vessel BW Pavilion Aranda that was delivered a week after the naming ceremony and is under a charter deal with Pavilion Energy.
