CCS Approves TISCO's Steel Round Bar for Shipbuilding

Chinese steelmaker Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Taiyuan Steel or TISCO) has won approval from China Classification Society for its forged steel round shipbuilding bar after an inspection by CCS officials.

Few weeks ago, after the field test and evaluation by experts from China Classification Society (CCS), the carbon steel section and alloy structural steel forged round product of TISCO were deemed as qualified to meet the requirements of CCS regulations and approved by the CCS of the certification.

It is the first time for carbon steel and alloy structural steel forged round product of Section Plant of TISCO to acquire the pass of CCS. It makes an access for the plant’s products to high-end markets.
