Chinese yard orders LNG systems for eight COSL PSVs

Gloryholder LGM has signed contract with Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group to supply LNG fuel gas systems for eight LNG-powered PSVs being built for China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL).

Gloryholder LGM said on Tuesday that the LNG systems will be delivered to shipyard during the first half of 2020. Class society is China classification society (CCS).

The eight vessels are part of a series of 12 LNG-fueled PSVs being built for COSL.

Together with the systems for the first four ships being built by Liaonan shipyard, this is the single largest series of LNG fuel gas systems orders received by Gloryholder LGM, the company noted.

Gloryholder LGM is responsible for the development and delivery of the complete LNG systems including; engineering and delivery of one type C LNG storage tank with capacity of 170cbm with integrated tank connection space (TCS), LNG bunkering station modules, water glycol system, commission, crew training and on site services.
