Chiyoda wins EPCM deal from RasGas

Chiyoda Almana, a Chiyoda Corporation’s unit, has been awarded a long-term engineering, procurement and construction management services contract by Qatar’s RasGas.

Under the five-year deal, Chiyoda  will provide services for projects supporting RasGas onshore and offshore facilities.

The company said in a statement on Thursday the facilities include small to medium-sized projects for a total of seven LNG plants. The seven LNG trains operated by RasGas have a total production capacity of 37 mtpa.

It will also provide services for three large-sized gas processing plant, helium plants and other facilities operated by LNG producer RasGas at Ras Laffan.
