CIC Changxing Names First Yangtze MAX Bulker

The first built 48,000 DWT bulk carrier “BAO YUE LING” for China Shipping Bulk Carrier Co., Ltd. under batch construction of China Shipping Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. (CICJS) was successfully named and delivered on Oct. 29, 2013 at No. 3 quay of China Shipping Industry (Shanghai Changxing) Co., Ltd.

The  vessel is the first of Yangtze MAX type 48.000 DWT bulk carrier series, a new type proposed by China Shipping (Group) Company.

The secretary of the Party Committee of CICJS Qiu Shuquan presided over the ceremony, and the executive deputy general manager of CICJS Wang Yiling delivered the welcome address.

The deputy general manager of China Shipping Bulk Carrier Co., Ltd. Lin Xinhui gave a speech on behalf of the ship-owner, and together with leaders including the general manager of China Shipping Industry Co., Ltd. Ye Xiaojian, the general manager CCS Shanghai Branch Li Hua, the deputy general manager of China Shipping International Trade Co., Ltd. Wang Ning, etc. cut the ribbon marking naming and delivery of the vessel.

Madam Chen Juxian named the vessel and conducted the ceremonial breaking of the champagne bottle.
