Council OKs Hot Pond Dredging

Lebanon’s Hot Pond will soon be dredged and cleaned out after the Lebanon City Council approved funds, reports reporter.net.

The Hot Pond Park is a 3.5-acre park named for a former cooling pond on the site.

This site is located on the northeast corner of Noble Street and Pleasant Street.

The City Council discussed that issue Monday and have concluded that dredging is the best way for the removal of silt.

The total cost of the dredging is expected to be about 100,000 USD.
