Courage Marine Acquires Bulk Carrier from Dong-A Tanker (China)

Courage Marine entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Dong-A Tanker in relation to the acquisition of a bulk carrier, M/V Dong-A Saturn, for a total cash consideration of $7.5m with delivery expected by the end of February.

The company had previously completed the disposal of old vessels and the proceeds were intended for the acquisition of new vessels when the right opportunity arose.

“The company considers that the current market situation is suitable for it to acquire a newer vessel to strengthen its fleet,” Courage Marine said in a stock market announcement.
