Crosco's Labin Jack-Up Drilling for INAgip

INAgip, a joint venture company established by the Italian oil giant Eni and the Croatian oil company INA, has awarded a drilling contract to Crosco.

The contract, for the Crosco-owned jack-up rig “Labin”, has already kicked off early in July. INAgip has hired the rig for exploration drilling on the Ilena and Ivna prospects as well as for development drilling services on IKA JZ  field in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea.

The rig, which recently underwent a thorough maintenance at the “Uljanik” shipyard in Pula, is currently being used to drill the well Ilena 1DIR.

No details were provided on the contract duration and no information was given on the financial particulars of the agreement.
