Dart Energy Names Managing Director

Dart Energy Limited announced the appointment of John McGoldrick as Managing Director of the company.

John McGoldrick has been the CEO of Dart since April 2013 and before that was executive officer of Dart International Limited from January 2012. He now joined the board as managing director as the company seeks to dual list on the London Stock Exchange AIM Market.

John McGoldrick, B Eng, has more than 33 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. John obtained his B Eng in chemical engineering with economics from the University of Bradford before he commenced his career with Phillips Petroleum Co. Europe Africa in 1980 as a petroleum engineer.

In 1984 he joined Enterprise Oil plc as a petroleum economist subsequently serving in a variety of management roles. From 1997 to 2000 John was the managing director of Enterprise Energy Ireland Ltd. and then from 2000 to 2002 he was executive president of Enterprise Oil Gulf of Mexico Inc., until Enterprise Oil was acquired by Shell.

From 2004 to 2006, John held the position of executive president of Falcon Bay Energy LLC. In 2006 he was appointed as executive chairman and a director of Caza Oil & Gas Inc. and, since 2010, he has remained as its non-executive chairman. In addition from 2008 to 2013, John served as an independent non-executive director of Vanguard Natural Resources LLC.
