Denmark: Ramboll Strengthens Pipelines & Subsea Department

Ramboll Strengthens Pipelines & Subsea Consultancy

Wishing to increase performance and quality of the company’s consultancy within Pipelines & Subsea projects, Ramboll Oil & Gas has appointed Lars Eriksen to a newly established position as Project Director. The Pipelines & Subsea department in Copenhagen is now lead by Søren Skovgård Møller.

This organisational up scaling is due to recent positive business developments for Ramboll Oil & Gas in the Norwegian market. Here Statoil is a strong partner and client for the company’s engineering consultancy. This positive working relation was further exemplified by a recent award of a pipeline framework agreement for the coming years.

Great aspirations for Pipelines and Subsea

Generally expectations are high within the Pipelines & Subsea service area and future aspirations also include an extended horizontal cooperation between Ramboll Oil & Gas regions enabling full utilization of their global specialists and presence. Ramboll calls this strategic priority Global Service Bands and besides Pipelines & Subsea it also includes the service areas of jacket designs and environmental assessments.

Project Director Lars Eriksen (49) has been with Ramboll for more than 25 years and together with Regional Director in Copenhagen Henrik Juhl, he has been a key architect behind the development of a world class Pipelines & Subsea department. Previously Lars Eriksen has worked as chief consultant, project manager, and head of department.

Director of Department Søren Skovgård Møller (31) has four years of experience at Ramboll coming from a job position at Maersk Oil. Prior to his promotion as director of department Søren Skovgård Møller has been working at Ramboll’s office in Stavanger, Norway where he was responsible for establishing a team of Pipelines & Subsea specialists and also managed sales activities to new and existing clients.
