Dominican Republic to get LNG cargo from Trinidad

Trinidad and Tobago shipped an LNG cargo from the Point Fortin facility to the Dominican Republic on Sunday.

The cargo is being carried by the 138,000 cbm British Trader, and it is due to arrive at the AES Andres LNG terminal on July 14, according to shipping data.

The imported LNG at Dominican Republic’s first terminal is being used to fuel the AES Andres power station located at the Boca Chica community.

Consisting of one 160,000 cbm storage tank, the terminal has a regasification capacity to convert 250,000 MMBTU per day.
