Dragon LNG import terminal at Waterston, Milford Haven is scheduled to receive a cargo of liquefied natural gas from Qatar next week.

The Al Hamla liquefied natural gas tanker, with a capacity of 216,000 cubic metres is scheduled to dock at the Dragon LNG jetty on September 19, the data from the Milford Haven Port Authority shows.

According to the gas transmission data from National Grid, gas flows into the national gas transmission network from the Dragon LNG terminal were at 3.50 mcm per day on Tuesday, September 12.

The Dragon LNG terminal, owned by Shell and Petronas has a maximum gas send out rate to the NTS of 7.6 billion cubic meters of gas per annum. The terminal can supply up to 10 percent of the UK’s energy needs.
