EBX Group Reveals Capitalization Plan for OSX Brasil SA

Eike Batista, controlling shareholder of OSX Brasil S.A. (“OSX”), reiterates his commitment, if necessary, to subscribe for the increase of OSX´s share capital unconditionally and without restrictions, in accordance with the Put Option Agreement (Instrumento Particular de Outorga de Opção de Subscrição de Ações e Outras Avenças) signed on 16th March 2010, in the amount of US$ 1 billion.

For this purpose, in addition to utilizing his own resources, the controlling shareholder has received firm financing offers in the amount of R$ 1.8 billion (one billion and eight hundred million reais), for a period of two years and available for disbursement in a period of up to twelve months from Banco Bradesco S.A. and Banco Itaú BBA S.A, subject to other terms and conditions in such offers.
