EIA: US weekly LNG exports go up, Henry Hub prices go down
As shown by the data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), LNG exports from the U.S. increased this week while Henry Hub prices went down.
In the latest Short-Term Energy Outlook for the week between 14 October and 20 October, EIA reports 20 LNG vessels departed the United States. This is four more than the last reported week.
Eight ships left from Sabine Pass and four each went from Cameron, Corpus Christi, and Freeport. They held a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 74 billion cubic feet.
The Henry Hub spot price fell from $5.45 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) last Wednesday to $4.79/MMBtu this week.
