ENAP names Andres Alonso manager of Energy and Gas division

In order to address the development of LNG and promote ENAP’s participation in energy projects, the company named Andres Alonso head of management of the Energy and Gas division.

This became the third business line of the company in addition to Exploration and Production and Refining and Marketing business lines.

“Andrés Alonso is a professional with wide experience in the industry. Before joining ENAP, he served as Manager of Energy and Climate Change for BHP Billiton and as Manager of Energy and Water Resources of Codelco. As such, Alonso was Vice-Chairman of GNL Mejillones S.A., General Manager of Energía Minera S.A. and Luz Minera S.A. power plants, and was President of the Energy and Climate Change of the Mining Council during the last six years,” said a company in a statement.
