Engine Failure Muddles MV Corcovado’s Schedule

Container vessel MV Corcovado will push its sailing schedule by six days after experiencing a main engine pilot valve failure on November 18, German container line Hapag-Lloyd reports.

Hapag-Lloyd said that the vessel will be moved to Asia at a reduced speed.

Due to the delay, MV Corcovado’s original schedule will be changed and the vessel will only visit the ports of Pusan and Shanghai.

All cargo originally destined to Xiamen, Chiwan and Hong Kong will be transshipped in Shanghai onto MV CMA CGM Mississippi.
