Eni, Gazprom Ink Italian Natural Gas Supply Addendum

Alexey Miller of Gazprom and Claudio Descalzi, Chief Operating Officer of Eni signed an addendum to the existing contracts for natural gas supply to Italy on Friday.

The document provides for amending the Sales and Purchase Agreement for the Russian ‘blue fuel’ supply to the Italian company.

Italy is the second largest importer of Russian gas to the EU after Germany. In 2013 the volume of Gazprom’s supplies to Italy made up 25.3 billion cubic meters of gas.
