ENN imports first cargo of LNG

ENN of China reportedly received its first imported liquefied natural gas cargo on Tuesday. 

Cargo was delivered by Sonangol Benguela to the PetroChina operated Rudong LNG terminal, Platts informs.

In a series of firsts, ENN is a first privately owned company to receive a cargo at an existing terminal via third-party access.

ENN is developing its own 3 mtpa LNG import facility in Zhoushan and it is scheduled for completion in 2016.

It was also revealed that the company booked five cargoes of LNG for delivery in the first quarter of 2015.
