Evergas takes delivery of fourth multigas carrier

Copenhagen-based Evergas said Thursday it has taken delivery of its fourth multigas LNG carrier, the JS Ineos Inspiration, at the Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering shipyard in Qidong, China.

The 27,500 cbm JS Ineos Inspiration is the fourth in a series of eight multigas ‘Dragon’ class vessels.

The vessels will transport ethane from the United States Mariner East project to Europe under a 15-year shipping deal Evergas signed with Ineos in 2013.

The dual-fuelled vessels will use LNG to power its engines and are 180 metres long and 26.6 metres wide with a draft of approximately 9 metres.
