Danish shipping company, Evergas, said it has taken delivery of all eight of LNG-fueled “Dragon” class vessels.

The company informed that its last vessel in the series, the JS Ineos Invention, has been delivered and now all eight vessels are in full operation and transporting ethane from the United States to Europe.

The 27,500-cbm carriers are all capable of transporting ethane, a wide range of petrochemical gasses, LPG and LNG.

The vessels will transport ethane from the United States Mariner East project to Europe under a 15-year shipping deal Evergas signed with Ineos in 2013.

Each ship is 80 meters long and 26.6 meters wide, will mainly use liquefied natural gas as fuel.
