France: CCI Invites Bids for Construction of Dredger

CCI de Bayonne Pays Basque has invited bidders to submit their offers for the construction and commissioning of a mixed use dredger for optimal maintenance dredging of the depths in the mouth of the Port of Bayonne, access channel and base of dock.

The characteristics of this vessel assigned to the Port of Bayonne will allow its entry into the dock (TE max 4.30m/width of the passage is 15m/ length of the form is 94m).

This vessel will be carrying out annual dredging services, capacity, +/- 500,000m3 sandy sediments and +/- 400,000m3 mud.

The vessel’s home port will be in France and will be French flagged.

The project period is 18 months from the date of contract award, and the tender deadline is February 11, 2013.
