Gail closes in on gas supply deal with Vega Energy

India’s Gail is on the verge of signing a gas supply deal with Vega Energy Partners, a Houston-based natural gas assets development company. 

According to a company official, Gail has been looking to pen gas supply deals for the Cove Point LNG project, reports Business Standard.

Gail signed a terminal service agreement with Dominion for booking 2.3 mtpa liquefaction capacity at the Cove Point LNG terminal and is sourcing the gas supplies.

Quantity and the price of the deal with Vega Energy have not been revealed.
