POSH Xanadu, a flotel owned by Singapore’s  PACC Offshore Services Holdings Ltd (POSH), has left a Chinese yard and is now on its way to Brazil.

The semi-submersible accommodation vessel of the Eide Flex design, will work for Petrobras, supporting the oil company’s oil and gas production activities in the Campos Basin.

POSH Xanadu, which will be connected with a 38.5m aluminium walkway to Petrobras’ offshore installations, offers accommodation for 750 people.

The rig, build by China’s PaxOcean Zhoushan, has been hired for a one year contract with an option to extend for another year.

Its sister flotel POSH Arcadia will be delivered in March 2015. Check out the gallery below for more details on POSH Xanadu.
