 Gazprom CEO Meets with Slovak PM

During his visit to the Slovak Republic, Gazprom’s CEO Alexey Miller met with Robert Fico, Prime Minister of the country.

The parties emphasized a high level of the mutually beneficial partnership in the gas sector and addressed promising issues, such as joint execution of projects on the gas transportation system and UGS  facilities development in Slovakia. A focus was placed on strengthening the reliability and sustainability of Russian gas supplies in the short and long term,” Gazprom said in a statement.

Alexey Miller and Robert Fico agreed to ramp up the activity within infrastructure projects,” the company added.

In 2011 Gazprom supplied Slovakia with 5.9 billion cubic meters of Russian gas.
