Gazprom settles payments despite U.S. sanctions

The Gazprom Group, including Gazprom Export, settled in full and in due time all the payments in Russian rubles and in international currencies, through accounts of Gazprom and its affiliated companies operated by Gazprombank.

This is done despite the extended sanctions unilaterally announced on 16th July by the U.S. administration against the number of Russian companies, including Gazprombank (OAO), Gayprom Export said in a statement.
